Why did you select EKU?

I selected EKU because of the quality of the instructors, and the quality of the program. I also selected EKU because of the encouragement they show their students to get involved in events and activities both on and off of campus. 

 

Why did you select Criminal Justice and/or Police Studies?

I selected Criminal Justice because I have a strong interest in the field, and I feel that I can contribute to this area of study with my caring nature. I also chose Criminal Justice because EKU’s Criminal Justice program offers several opportunities to help students get involved and prepare for their future careers.

 

What are your educational goal(s)?

My educational goals are to finish with my Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and to later further my education to become a Clinical Psychologist for offenders with mental illness and substance abuse issues.

 

When did you start your degree at EKU?

I started my degree at EKU in the fall semester of 2012.

 

When will you graduate?

I will graduate in the fall semester of 2015

 

What is your Career goal(s)?

My career goal is to become a Clinical Psychologist and work with the offenders in a Federal Correctional Institution, helping them deal and cope with mental illness and substance abuse issues.

 

What advice or recommendations would you give prospective students considering EKU and Criminal Justice and/or Police Studies?

I highly recommend EKU and its Criminal Justice program to any student considering EKU. EKU’s Criminal Justice program has a lot to offer in many different aspects, and is backed with incredible professors that really care about their students and the program. For any student joining the program I want to offer the advice of getting involved in any event, activity, or organization that EKU’s Criminal Justice Program has to offer.
